祝琳研究员简介:

祝琳,研究员,香港浸会大学研究生毕业,获博士学位。现任香港中文大学深圳研究院及生物医学院研究员,主要从事中药活性成分筛选、中药质量评价与控制研究。

目前,主持国家自然科学基金(NSFC)青年基金课题一项,参与香港研究资助局(UGC)、创新科技署(ITF)等课题研究多项。在Archives of Toxicology、Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition、Scientific Reports、Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences、Journal of Chromatography A、Food Chemistry等SCI收录学术期刊上发表学术论文35篇,其中第一作者/通讯作者26篇。

 

易涛博士简介:

易涛博士,四川大学“本-硕-博”毕业,现任职于香港浸会大学中医药学院,主要从事中药活性成分筛选、中药质量评价与控制研究。兼任国家自然科学基金(NSFC)函评专家、深圳市科技创新委员会(深圳科创委)科技项目会评专家。

主持国家自然科学基金(NSFC)面上项目、香港创新科技署(ITF)创新及科技支持计划、广东省自然科学基金基础研究、深圳科创委自由探索等课题10多项。另外,参与香港研究资助局(UGC)、香港卫生署(HKDH)“香港中药材标准”等课题多项。迄今已在Chemical Engineering JournalCritical Reviews in Food Science and NutritionScientific ReportsProtein & CellAnnals of the New York Academy of SciencesOxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity等SCI收录学术期刊发表学术论文90多篇,其中以第一作者/通讯作者身份发表50多篇,个人H指数22(以Google Scholar 计)。

 

【讲座主要内容】:

1. Red yeast rice, produced from the fermentation of steamed rice using the fungus Monascus purpureus, has been applied as food colorant, dietary material and folk medicine in Asian countries for thousands of years.

In order to clarify the underlying chemical foundation and evidence for the therapeutic effects of red yeast rice, detailed chemical analysis of red yeast rice was performed. The aim of our study was focused on rapid characterization, isolation and structural elucidation of novel compounds from red yeast rice, as well as their biological activities screening. The results obtained from entire research are summarized as: 1) Two new dehydromonacolins, together with nine known monacolins, were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of red yeast rice; 2) Seven decalin including five new compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of red yeast rice; 3) A ultra-high performance liquid chromatography hyphenated with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-Q-TOF-MS) was employed for characterization of the mass fragmentation patterns of the isolated decalins by collision-induced dissociation tandem mass spectrometry (CID-MS/MS).

In conclusion, this research demonstrated the rapid and effective isolation of series of desired monacolins and decalins by the pre-targeting method using LC-MS. As a result, the novel chemical structures and innovative bioactivities of the isolated compounds definitely contributed to both chemical and biological diversities of red yeast rice.

2. 雪莲花来源于菊科风毛菊属(Saussurea)多种植物的干燥地上部分,是中国少数民族地区常用的一类名贵药材,具有抗炎镇痛、活血通经、散寒除湿等功效,主要用于治疗关节炎、痛经等病症。然而,目前雪莲花的药效物质基础仍不明确,再加上多年掠夺式采挖,致使该类资源储量急剧减少,少数种类已处于灭绝的边缘。因此,从资源可持续开发与利用角度看,积极寻找雪莲花中的抗炎活性成分,再由其他资源转化获得,从而缓解雪莲花野生资源不足的压力已经迫在眉睫。

针对以上问题,为了深入探索雪莲花抗炎镇痛物质基础、可持续开发利用雪莲花资源,讲座人课题组对雪莲花类药材在文献整理、显微鉴定、化学成分、药理活性以及体内代谢与分离方面进行了系统性研究,积累了多年的亲身经验,并取得了一定的研究结果。
