TITLE: How to design, execute and publish good research
Prof. Yohei Doi is Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Innovative Antimicrobial Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and Professor/Chair of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at Fujita Health University School of Medicine.Prof. Doi also serves as Chair of the Gram-Negative Committee for the Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group and Program Committee Member for IDWeek as well as ASM Microbe.His main research interest is in identifying emerging antimicrobial resistance mechanisms in Gram-negative bacterial pathogens and developing novel approaches in controlling them.
Prof. Doi serves for many research journals such as he is the Associate Editor of Journal of Infection and Chemotherapy, Editor of Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy; the member of Editorial Board for Diagnostic Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Journal of Clinical Microbiology; and the Ad hoc Reviewer for New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet Infectious Diseases, Clinical Infectious Diseases, Emerging Infectious Diseases, and Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, etc.
